Lives Interrupted
A family of Four changes directions
Anxious to get out of the City of Callao, Peru, because of a military insurrection, the middle-class family of four seeks refuge in the United State. However, their efforts are thwarted because of the normal waiting period of five years that it takes to immigrate.
Their only option is to flee Peru, with nothing more than their clothes on their backs and a few "soles" in their pockets. So they walk across the street to the Argentinean Consulate to seek asylum. They get it, and fly out of Lima to Buenos Aires, the next day. They spend a tumultuous, yet thrilling, five years as Juan and Evita Peron guide and destroy a great country, before their U.S.A. visa finally arrives.
A beautiful story of a hardworking family, full of love, determination, and a wonderful dream to immigrate to the Land of Plenty!

In Search of the Concrete Wave
The trials and tribulations of building the very first skateboard park in the world!
In 1974 Lois and Lou Peralta came up with the idea of building a skateboard park for skateboarders. What germinated the idea was the constant headline news that kids were getting hurt or run over, kicked out of empty pools and pipes, and becoming more of a nuisance then a legitimate sport, having their own venues.
The Peraltas took care of that.
This is their two-and-a-half-year quest to go through the permitting process. It finally paid off in February 1977, when SKATERCROSS finally open its doors to a throng of enthusiasts.
This is their story as to how they got there...
A man's life revealed in this book as freely and honestly as any shrink would be happy to hear. From leaving Peru in a hurry, getting out of Argentina "pronto" and escaping to the U.S. What wild times! Terrific stories and reads.

EL CHINERO - THE SCRIPT-BOOK
A wonderful script turned into a book...
sort of.
Some readers may not be familiar with the inner workings of producing a film or television show or for that matter a play. They all have scripts.
In the case of a script for a movie or television show, they not only give you the story line plus the dialog between characters, but they also must describe the scene, location, time of day, indoor or outdoor and the actual dialog and movement by every actor.
That is what this book is all about. Not only a great and terrifying story about one man's fight for survival but when reading the book, let your imagination take over to see what is happening with the movie. Fantastic! Enjoy!
